At By Kes, we are committed to providing our customers with high-quality, handmade products delivered in a timely and reliable manner. Our shipping policy outlines how we handle the dispatch and delivery of orders to ensure your satisfaction.

 

Order Processing Time

  • Handcrafted Products: Each By Kes product is carefully handcrafted using natural and recycled materials. The manufacturing and processing of these items take place in our studio, and product lead times can vary between 10 to 15 days depending on the size of the order and the time of year. We manufacture to order, apart from a few collections which we hold inventory of.

  • In-Stock Items: For items that are already in stock, we will endeavour to dispatch your order within 1-3 business days.

  • Quality Assurance: By Kes adheres to a strict quality assurance system to ensure that every product meets our high standards of excellence before it is dispatched.

Shipping Details

  • Shipping Provider: We have partnered with The Courier Guy to deliver your orders safely and efficiently across South Africa.

  • Shipping Fee: Your delivery fee will be determined once your order has been placed. The Courier Guy uses a volumetric system to determine shipping costs, calculating a "volumetric weight" based on the package's dimensions (length x breadth x height), and charging based on the greater of actual or volumetric weight. 

  • Delivery Time: Once your order has been dispatched, it will typically be delivered within 2-3 business days.

  • Shipping Exceptions and Delays

  • Peak Seasons: Please note that during peak seasons or holiday periods, processing and delivery times may be longer than usual.

  • Custom Orders: For custom or large orders, additional time may be required for production and delivery. We will provide you with an estimated delivery date once the order details are confirmed.

  • Unforeseen Circumstances: While we strive to meet our delivery timelines, certain conditions, such as extreme weather, strikes, or other unforeseen circumstances, may cause delays. In such cases, we will do our best to keep you informed and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

  • Tracking Information: Once your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. This will allow you to monitor the progress of your delivery and plan to receive your package.

  •  Shipping Restrictions

  • Delivery Areas: Currently, By Kes delivers exclusively within South Africa. We do not offer international shipping at this stage.

  • P.O. Boxes: Please note that we do not deliver to P.O. boxes. A physical address is required for all deliveries.
